Meta on June 23 introduced a new line of its AI-powered smart glasses with three new frame styles starting at $299, its lowest price yet.
The new “Meta Glasses” are the company’s first smart glasses line under its own name, but they will be produced by eyewear company EssilorLuxottica, which owns the eyewear brands Ray-Ban and Oakley that Meta partnered with on its previous lines.
“This is our biggest, boldest lineup yet—a whole new range of shapes, colours and premium finishes—including Meta Glasses by Kylie [Jenner], a unique slim oval frame inspired by Kylie’s personal style and her first venture into wearable tech,” Furhan Zafar, a Meta vice president, wrote on LinkedIn….
