British singer-songwriter Rod Stewart temporarily paused his concert in Utah, after nearly fainting on stage, prompting concern from fans and concertgoers.
In video footage released by TMZ, the 81-year-old appeared in distress during a June 19 performance at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater in West Valley City.
Crew members quickly rushed to his aid and can be seen bringing the musician an oxygen tank. After receiving medical attention, Stewart addressed the crowd telling the audience that he had “nearly passed out,” adding that “the show must go on.”
“Would you mind if I sat down for this one?” Stewart continued before performing the remainder of his show while seated, drawing applause from fans who welcomed his return to the stage….
